I first met Wendy when our children were at the Bunscoil together. She was such a lovely soul, and she clearly adored her husband and children. Wendy could have sat on her living room floor, and spent hours with her children playing games, doing puzzles or reading to them. We moved just a few doors from Wendy, so my youngest daughter Eimear would play with Sarah, though a few years younger. Wendy was just lovely, so gentle, and it is with great sadness I have heard of her death. My friend Colette another neighbour of Wendy's and I told our Parish priest about her, and he offered Mass for her this morning. Many thanks to Fr. Patrick Devlin for doing that for such a worthy soul. May she rest in Heavenly peace.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
